NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company that owns exclusive rights to Nokia mobile brand, has reportedly started rolling out Android Nougat 7.1.2 update to Nokia 6 smartphone. As reported by GSMArena, the company has started rolling out the update. Weighing 665MB it is an over-the-air update.
The update brings bug fixes, improved system stability and better user improvements. Along with this, the update will also bring the October Android security patch.
For those unaware, the company launched Nokia 6 in India in June this year with a price tag of Rs 14,999. The smartphone is exclusively available online on Amazon India website.

The dual-SIM Nokia 6 smartphone has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage front, the Nokia 6 comes with an inbuilt 64GB storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB.On optics front, Nokia 6 is powered by a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with 84-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
