The Sales Ledger Administrator Role:
You will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner within the quotation to cash arena. The process begins at quotation creation where you will be required to use your initiative and collate information to compile accurate quotations to issue to customers.
Attention to detail is paramount.
After the quotation has been issued, you will be required to move it along a structured process to invoicing and hold responsibility for assisting credit control in cash collection of a section of our sales ledger to meet contractual terms and group collection forecasts.
+ Using systems data to identify and prepare quotations and sales invoices for contract renewals, utilising the sales office team and accountants to support
+ Generating sales invoices, chasing for PO`s before renewal dates.
+ Liaising with other departments to ensure an effective process is in place for recording Support/Maintenance renewal data
+ Ensuring the Support team have appropriate information to ensure that no site is given support outside of the agreed contract terms.
+ Providing the Account Management Team with sufficient detail on billing requirements to allow them to monitor projects and also resolve any billing queries they may have.
+ Liaison with account and project managers/operational teams to communicate customer disputes and co-ordinate a resolution / plan to remedy
+ Maintenance of data records / contact information held in CRM to facilitate smooth transactions in future years.
+ Assisting customers via telephone with invoice and quotation queries.
+ Good attention to detail, ability to manage own workload, and hit deadlines
+ Previous experience of working in an office environment, in a similar role
+ Ability to competently utilise Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
+ Prepared to adopt flexible patterns of working
